However, I am having a hard time preventing characters from dying and other issues.I read online, and people were saying that you were supposed to let teammates die to boost SP. That's great and all, but when they die literally EVERY single fight and you end up wasting every amount of money you have to revive them at the infirmary or use healing items, then what's the point? Also, what's up with enemies moving one square out of range on the move phase. You don't know how many times I've had to chase a single enemy around the grid for 2-3 turns just so I can get within range of them because they purposefully move one square away from your attack range. This not only slows the battle down, but kills your rating at the end of the battle which means less EXP for you.I've seen some of my characters at full health get one shotted by some stupid shit of a mob. I have all my weapons and gear at rank 5, and have been focusing on putting points in vitality for everyone for a few levels now to prevent them from dying but it's no use at all.Why do I suck so bad? It's hard for me to remember when I first played the game, but I don't think I did this bad at all.

Any tips are greatly appreciated. I like the game but some things are just ridiculous. Dear hamburgerwalrus, don't blame yourself for being bad in an Idea Factory game. Let me tell you something interesting, IF designs games around buying Exp, SP and Gold for real money, so even on 'Easy' difficulty, the games are ridiculously hard. You could grind too, but then you won't get the good endings and the hot scenes of course. Naturally, they only show when you don't grind. What brilliant game design. The only thing I can advise you is to rebuy the game for PC.

It's often on sale, like right now on GoG:And then you use cheat engine to give yourself Exp, SP and Gold. It's not cheating, it's just 'pretending you bought the DLC', right?. Did you grind? Because I can beat it too, it's just that I'm like 1000 turns over the limit to get the 'true ending' then and I didn't get any of the hot scenes that have a turn limit on them either (not that I care about them, I really only played that game because I liked the OST).If you grinded within a dungeon on one of the older versions of the game so that the turn limit isn't increased, be aware that this was patched out from the newer versions (every battle increases turn by 1 now), so you can consider that 'bug abusing' as well.
