Eldevin
Apr 28, 2019 Taking a look at one of the MMORPGs that's completely fallen off the radar, is Eldevin still worth playing in 2019? Or is its flat-lined player population to.

Eldevin Kingdom, for generations, has been a green and peaceful land. All that changed ten years ago with the discovery of the Elemental Spheres. Once thought to be mere legend, these powerful magical artifacts had an immediate affect on the kingdom, plunging it into confusion and chaos. The royal family decreed that the Spheres be scattered to the corners of the world lest they cause more destruction. They were too late.
The presence of the Spheres corrupted the Champions protecting them. Now Tristan, Emperor of the Infernal Empire, has set his sights on conquering the Spheres. Only the Kingdom of Eldevin stands in his way. This game is very fun to play, the leveling is not a quick one although you can use experience pots if you want. The mobs can give you a run for your money, so you have to be careful.
Exploring its fun but be careful you may walk into areas with mobs that are 10 levels above yours. So be aware of your surroundings.
Find the distance between calculator. I have done some dungeons store mode and with groups and they are fun. So enjoy this game. I am a long term player, so thought I would write up a review to include some of the things a new player will not notice instantly. So the I am a long term player, so thought I would write up a review to include some of the things a new player will not notice instantly.
So the basics: You will start off like most games, learning a few basic attacks and talents. Completing quests and killing creeps to level up your character. When you level up you will receive level up points (to place in melee, range stat etc) and I think after level 4 you will start to receive Talent points. This is when you can browse the talent trees and start to plan a path for your character. You are not limited to any of the class talent trees, which is something I really love. Theory crafting your builds and trying new things that no on else has thought of before can be very rewarding and fun, even when you get it completely wrong! For new players, you are granted a free full respec, so do not worry if you go wrong on your first attempt.
I am currently messing around with builds to try in the pvp battlegrounds, and have made a tanky ranger which I am having lots of fun playing at the moment. Pewpew!:P Once you level up and make a few friends you can start to tackle group dungeons, these dungeons reward relics which will allow you to buy the best armour sets available (at the dungeon level). If you prefer solo play, they have been adding 'Story Mode' dungeons too.
Here you can gain relics for those same armour sets, but story mode has slightly less loot than group dungeon(weapons etc). When you hit end game, you can group up and tackle the 'Ascended' dungeons. These are buffed versions of the regular dungeons, much more difficult but much more rewarding! Dropping better loot, and relics for the 'Fabled Sets'. When you are happy with your character and gear you can then start checking out pvp battlegrounds, world bosses, trolls that spawn randomly across the world. I do not really care for vanity, pets, mounts etc.
But if you are a player who enjoys those things there are loads to collect! Some are also only available when completing certain achievements. There are also tons of achievements too, if you enjoy those. If you want to grind Gold, you can do that.
If you want to hardcore level up you can do that too. If you want to bum around and chat with your friends you can do that. I have had loads of fun grouping up with people I met in the game, to run dungeons, pvp or just mess around, but I am at heart a player who prefers solo play. And I have enjoyed going off on my own adventures too. I think there are currently 16 professions you can work on, example: Prospecting, Farming, Cooking, Alchemy etc. My advice for these.
Is stay away from Fishing! Damn that is boring, unless you like fishing (of course). There are loads of quest to complete, and many players will find this the easiest way to level up early on.
Once you get a grasp of the game, you can then decide what path is most fun for you. The graphics are not great.
That's the only real drawback to this game. If you can live with modest graphics then play this game for sure. The graphics are not great. That's the only real drawback to this game. If you can live with modest graphics then play this game for sure. Free to play, pay for convenience like bags(more inventory space) or resets on cooldowns. Nice classless system.
You can cast any spell you meet the requirements for. Talents are available to specialization. Stats are not automatically applied, you can build high damage, high energy/mana or high damage. All professions are available to your characters. Professions are varied. Skinning has you killing mobs to get leather, armorsmith has you collecting ore.
Weaponsmith ore and chopping trees for materials. Cooking and tailoring plan on spending time at the in-game farms to get your materials. Alchemy foraging for useful plants. Community is very positive helpful and friendly. I am a long time player.
I beta tested this game. It has changed alot since then, some good, some bad. It is a fun game to play. The game has I am a long time player. I beta tested this game. It has changed alot since then, some good, some bad. It is a fun game to play.
The game has a small Development team and they really listen to their players. Though not all the suggestions are taken. Some of the suggestions they run with are bad ones.
They promise things then ya might have to months for it to happen. They now have solo dungeons, but they are not a great way to make gold. They listen to the rich players who didn't want anyone to catch up with them and the gold they have so they nerfed the rewards in the dungeons. You are better of trying to get into dungeon runs then doing solo.
Players get mad when ya Need roll on Gems or anything that your character isn't going to wear. Some of the older players are very friendly and willing to help.
Over all I would say this is a great game but the Dev.' S really should take polls on the suggestions players make before putting them in so they can make the vast majority happy Expand. I am going to make this very simple. Positives - #1 Its not a resource hog. #2 It has a classless system this simply means you can I am going to make this very simple.
Positives - #1 Its not a resource hog. #2 It has a classless system this simply means you can use any weapons from any class if you choose. #3 Installation is quick and easy #4 This is not a PAYTOOWIN its more of a PAYTOOGAIN or PAYTOOLEVEL it does have a subscription fee but you do not need to SUBSCRIBE to achieve anything in this game I repeat its Free to play. #5 Easy installation due to it being a web browser built game #6 it has challenging dungeons #7 It offers something a bit different to what we are all use too like wow,terra,g2w etc. #8 The games has a ton load of quests as well as story mode for dungeons that simple means you don't have too play with a group to beat it too gain some weapons. It lowers the difficulty so that you can progress however these are only for the lower end dungeons. I am not too interested in groups myself so this is a positive, if you want better gear you will have to do it on harder difficulty which is fair in my book.#9 The customer service support and feeback is constant this may be due to the low numbers but in most games the act like they dont see you or hear you and for me this is the biggest thing because if i am to spend my time and money i want to be heard.
Negatives - #1 The quests need to be easier too locate with the quest book #2 You will need to use online Wiki to complete some quest and too locate things as the Map sucks at this. #3 The community is small therefore there isnt allot of folks online however i have a seen a 4000 increase and I am tracking the online numbers due to the launch on steam this will improve. #4 The mounts need to be better in the game whoever came up with the rocket has a sense a humor but we are mature we need mature stuff #5 For those who love graphics and need graphics you will not bet getting it with this game its a simple game with a nice touch to things its not ugly but not customary mmo magic.#6 The crafting in this game sucks it needs to be revamped its pretty difficult to get to higher levels without the use of pots that type of grinding should have better rewards.#7 No Auction house is a turn off however you can still do in game trading and so on.
I like a healthy economy so hope this is added soon. Overall- The game is a challenge and they try to balance things but as we no its never easy to please everyone its a work in progress and the directions they have taken are brave ones that i believe will pay off. Give it a try for a week and see im sure if you love mmo you can play this one at work, home or anywhere easily without the stress of having a major gaming pc.
Eldevin GameplayEldevin is a story-based MMO, so it's friendly to solo players. This game more aimed at PvE combat and it also has some sandbox features.
The Eldevin is also quite hardcore because it has a monotonous skill development system and lots of the grind. Although it's story-based, the player still needs to spend dozens of hours on developing the character. It could be annoying if the game did not have incredible freedom of action.
