#citysection City Missions - #burgular Places To Burgularise - #elemental Elemental Crystals - #moveon Moving On District Maps -Things aren't so bad. Creepy weird crap are trying to kill Garrett, but you made out like a bandit who just robbed Las Vegas and felt up all the showgirls in one alcohol fueled night. You should have about $10,000 easy from all the stuff you've been either hoarding or what not (and stealing from city districts). Your next goal is to visit one Inspector Drept in Audale as mentioned in the previous mission. With this much cash to blow (don't forget to fence often), you should have a ready supply of emergency funds when things go krezzy in the last few missions.Stay to the rooftops (if you didn't know you can go on these roofs in Old Quarter, you do now) and drop down near the thieves' shop near the Audale map junction if you've tackled the undead puzzle problem in Fort Ironwood. Otherwise, head back to the Docks and stock up on fire arrows and flashbombs; head into Fort Ironwood to steal a few holy water vials as well (they only offer three in the church, more in the undead riddled catacombs underneath). It's zombie whacking time.

City Mission - There's a zombie problem in Fort Ironwood. (Old Quarter/Fort Ironwood) Do this mission now. Inside Fort Ironwood, there's a note and a conversation that will add this objective about a woman wanting to bury her brother in the cemetary, but the zombies are making things difficult (one wonders where the bodies Garrett creates are buried when found).

City Missions. Blackmail!. There's a zombie problem in Fort Ironwood. Solve it. Some guy didn't know Ramien was dead; he needs a job done. Do it.

Look for Inspector Drept in Audale. Whack Jimmy the Knife to open the Faux Pas curiosities and over-priced crap store. Curry favour from the Hammerites by killing undead and rust mites. Curry favour from the Pagans by mossing elemental arches and pagan cornerstones.

Break Out of Pavelock Prison. Places to burgularise. Elemental Arrow locationsCity Mission - Blackmail! (South Quarter)Enter the landlord's room in Garrett's apartment.

Loot the place, then read the landlord's journal about the blackmailing that's going on. Each night (i.e., after each 'regular' mission) you can visit the sewer grate in Black Alley (South Quarter) to take the blackmail drop off before the blackmailer does. Unlike some of the other city missions, there is no real 'blackmailer' who shows up to pick up the money - Garrett can go to the drop off anytime to take the money without anyone noticing. You'd figure by now someone would catch onto this, but apparently not.A water crystal and $50 each night in the Black Alley sewer. Don't spend it all in one place. City Mission - There's a zombie problem in Fort Ironwood. (Old Quarter/Fort Ironwood)Do this mission now.Inside Fort Ironwood, there's a note and a conversation that will add this objective about a woman wanting to bury her brother in the cemetary, but the zombies are making things difficult (one wonders where the bodies Garrett creates are buried when found).

You can get the same mission by finding the Pagan guerilla shaman in an Old Quarter sewer near the Docks map junction. The Pagan shaman has a note that tells you the other side of the story.Regardless if you like or hate undead, or like having a source of undead around to buddy-up to your Hammerite homies after killing forty, ififty of those bigoted mo'fos, you will want to accomplish this mission before you start investigating the Shalebridge Asylum on Day 7. Not doing so will make Garrett's man-pain all the more acute as zombies start ripping your face off for toppings on their Papa Murphy's pizza for the city exploration section after the next mission. This mission can be done one of two ways: head into the Fort Ironwood graveyard and moss up a Pagan cornerstone there, or you may head into the Old Quarter sewer and pick-pocket the Pagan shaman's wand. Either way you do it, the undead will stop coming to life when you 'reload' the Fort Ironwood map.

The Pagan's wand is worth $200 if you need extra arrows or a health potion, but mossing up the cornerstone will create an extra earth crystal in the graveyard. Robbing the Pagan is faster (you also get to grave-rob the trinkets the sister lays on the coffin later) and will not lower your faction status by much.Note that if you rid the place of undead, you can still head into Fort Ironwood's catacombs to loot the treasures within.City Mission - Some guy hired Ramien to pass off a job (Old Quarter/Docks)If you head back to Ramien's place after the Keepers' Compound Mission, you'll see a note posted on his front door, above the maildrop. Read it for a 'job' that needs to be done at the Docks' Taberna (tavern).

Garrett needs to dispose of a body into deep water without the body being discovered. This should be relatively easy, assuming that you can take care of the various guards and civilians near the Dock tavern. The job only pays $225 (like the Ornincross Dagger mini-mission) so don't go using too much equipment if you're aiming to make a profit (naturally, this doesn't count towards any equipment that's found). KO the people outside and inside the tavern to be safe and use the tavern door nearest the edge of the map as your ingress/egress to dump the corpse.Don't forget that you need to clean the blood up using a water arrow (either before or after the body dumping - we recommend before).

Save before you step outside to dump the body, or guards may occasionally respawn and see you. Head back to Ramien's place for the money in the dropbox.(Above) The note is right above the maildrop at Ramien's place. You get the mini-mission there and the pay-off there once the mission is completed.(Above) This door (behind you in this picture) is the ideal spot to foray out to the docks to dump bodies of unwanted felons, bitchy girlfriends, mother-in-laws, ex-wives, and unwanted children.

The body is on the second floor of the Docks' tavern by the way.City Mission - Look for Inspector Drept in Audale (Audale)Upon entering Audale, eavesdrop about the whereabouts of Drept. Head right to the pub. There's a guard usually in the well-lighted street. You'll have to headshot him and stash his corpse in the avenue leading to the park (a Pagan-held park).

Drept's office is on street level - just touch the Hammer-insignia window to start an informative cutscene. Now you have your next assignment.

Let's hope you're maxxed out on those flashbombs and fire arrows. The Hammerite symbol of Drepts' office will trigger the cutscene you need to access the next mission. Nothing fancy, and you'll be interested to know that the Audale fence is up those stairs on the right side of this picture.City Mission - Whack Jimmy the Knife to Open the Overpriced Crap Store (Audale)Eavesdrop on a footpad talking tough to a jewel nerd in Audale Plaza. Supposedly, you can KO the thug and the front door of the Overpriced Crap store will be unbarred, but that only happened on the night after we completed Shalebridge Asylum. Still, there's no harm in re-loading the Audale map after you whack Jimmy (and take his key) to see if the store's front door can be opened. Otherwise, you'll only get one chance to enter the store and that will be the night after the Asylum is completed. The main canal can be walk in after you fiddle with the valve in the Audale pumphouse. One of the three canal entrances is in the pumphouse itself.

Use the canal to hide from the City Watch and to make fast progress from Gamall's Lair/House of Overpriced crap to the Pagan held Audale Park.City Mission - Curry favour from the Hammerites (Anywhere)Get this ongoing mission by reading the letter from Inspector Drept in the Keeper Library if you haven't done so already. From now on, any assault on a Hammerite will make them want to kill you more. Instead, get on their nice side (they will address you as Brother Garrett at the highest level of alliance) by killing undead and rust mites where you find them.

If you're going to the docks, have a lot of cash and buy fire arrows and flashbombs after you pick up the climbing gloves. Your one destructive sojourn on the Abyssmal Gale will most likely ally you with the Hammerites for the rest of the game. If you play your cards right.(Above) This Keeper has a letter from the Hammerite Inspector Drept that will put the Hammerite faction missions on you for the rest of the game.

The letter is on the table next to him, by the way.(Above) Rust mite. Note the Pagan cornerstone on the building wall to the right of the picture. The big rust coloured cockroaches you see in t.

Thief (Thief 4) is the fourth installment in a series of Stealth games belonging to the Thief series that is developed by Eidos Entertainment Montréal and published by Square Enix, It was released on Microsoft Windows, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on February 25 in North America, February 27 in Australia and February 28 in Europe. Set in a steampunk world, Garrett has been away from his home town for a long time, upon his return he is greeted with 'a city of melting prosperity' now ruled by an iron-fisted Baron who crushes the city through militarized surveillance and where there is only good fortune for the elite. Having witnessed the ensuing chaos that has gripped the city, Garrett sees this an as opportunity to get rich. Unconcerned with becoming the hero the city requires, he finds his way into the Stonemarket district in the back of a covered wagon and watches the bodies of plague victims pile up on street corners. Guards quell small civil disputes with force and wealthy men stroll by with bodyguards. This is a city where “would-be revolutionaries preach to deaf ears while men in stockades slowly waste away”, and Garrett does nothing to stop it. (Read more..)
